I'm privileged to serve the citizens of North Dakota as Commissioner of the Office of State Tax Commissioner. I believe in efficient, effective and responsive government that places public interests first. Prior to my role as state tax commissioner, I served as North Dakota Public Service Commissioner for 5 years. Before entering public service, I was involved in executive level business leadership and management, effectively managing large, multi-million dollar businesses throughout the U.S.I pride myself on being fiscally responsible and creating new efficiencies under a broad range of economic conditions. I have experience across numerous industries including energy, agriculture and business.I strongly believe in community service. I have and continue to serve as a trustee for numerous non-profit boards and organizations.Specialties: Leadership, strategic planning, budgeting and economic analysis, operational excellence, increasing shareholder value, regulatory oversight and consistently meeting strategic objectives.
