I am an experienced labor relations specialist with an interest in legal and labor history. I bring good critical thinking and listening skills to difficult employment relations problems in order to find solutions that work best for everyone. I enjoy my vocation because resolving difficult problems as well as bringing both new ideas and tried and true methods to informal conversations and the bargaining table helps me make the difference I want to be in the world. I am at heart a person who cares about people and systems and wants to integrate them together so they work effectively both for the employer and the employee. I aim to improve the relationships between employers and employees as well as the quality of work and quality of life for everyone involved. In my free time, I am a tireless reader and lover of strategy games. i also enjoy quiet evenings with friends and devote my volunteer time to working with animals who are looking for their forever homes.
