About Brian Leonelli

I am passionate about improving efficiency and reducing waste. That is why I pursued a degree in industrial engineering and then a second degree in economics; that is also why I work in the consulting industry focusing on Oracle's HCM ERPs. Regardless of whether we are talking about implementing a new system, upgrading an existing one or maintaining one that is already in operation, I have always had the desire to make changes, to streamline processing and reduce costs while also improving the customer experience. A key asset that assists with this is having an inquisitive mind and never being satisfied with the status quo. The world is constantly in flux and just because you had an acceptable solution 12 months ago does not mean it is still the best course of action; there are always opportunities to make things more effective and those should be pursued until l the marginal cost of implementing them is equal to the present value of any savings they would yield over the lifespan of the change. Fun facts? I have 10 avocado trees that I have been growing from seed 9+ years ago. They have not yet yielded fruit, but I am hopeful that someday I’ll be pleasantly surprised. In the mean time I’ll just enjoy their broad leafy foliage.
