About Brian Leverone

I have worked in real estate management with WinnResidential for over thirteen years. I am currently responsible for the financial and operational oversight of sixty-eight properties in the NYC Metro and Southern CT areas. Currently, my portfolio includes roughly residential units and over square feet of commercial space. My responsibilities include oversight of the management activities for conventionally financed properties, properties utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credits, properties with local and state funding sources, and properties with multiple funding layers, as well as a business unit that serves as one of five national territories for WinnCompanies. More specifically, I oversee both property financial and maintenance operations as well as the corporate profitability of the regional management operations. I am responsible for administering the property and regional corporate budget and re-forecast process, implementing cost controls, and advising on capital improvement plans. Over the past thirteen years I have forged a strong and lasting relationship with local housing agencies in multiple states, cities and districts. These relationships allow me to respond quickly and effectively to financial and occupancy issues while carefully adhering to the numerous policies and procedures within these public and semi-public agencies.With an extensive background in real estate management for a variety of ownership structures, I not only understand the goals of neighborhood development organizations, non-profit owners, and for-profit owners, but also how best to address the unique challenges each face.
