About Brian Linton

My passion shines brightest when I am teaching skills or topics, mentoring with career advice, and building community through bringing people together around common interests and facilitating impactful programming. I have 10+ years experience in the marketing analytics field, working for the US market and globally to deliver data-driven insights to push the business and consumer experience forward. Driving analytics tools' education and adoption (e.g. Google Analytics 4 trainings and office hours), working across teams to drive new solutions at scale for the business, and keeping a consumer-first / end-user mindset are strong themes I hold that have brough success and meaningful relationships. I love to give back to the community, and am thankful for opportunities to do so through my role my executive board positions in the Cornell Black Alumni Association and in Employee Resource Groups. I have mentored college students and spoken to high school students about my work experience. Lastly, I enjoy teaching new skills to a wide audience, from students to executives, leveraging my expertise as a teaching assistant at Cornell and a Google Analytics expert.
