About Brian MacDonald

I'm an experienced software engineer who has developed a variety of data-driven applications and tools for, most recently, the Google Cloud Platform (in Python) as well as Linux and Windows. I’ve been a back-end cloud developer for more than 8 years using both Cloud Functions (serverless) and Kubernetes – all with a strong tester mentality. I have architected two major software products using the Google Cloud platform. In the past, I have renovated two companies’ test automation frameworks to verify the functional specifications of their RESTful web services. Lastly, in my spare time, I'm working on an intuitive music metadata web service to keep myself immersed in personal software development and to ponder future independent business endeavors. I'm seeking a development opportunity to use my varied skills in an intriguing, creative, and driven environment to produce great digital experiences and to promote operational excellence. I have a preference to work on a team of back-end or full-stack cloud developers who are test-minded and maintenance-minded.
