About Brian Mannion
I have received confirmation of licensure in the state of Massachusetts as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am currently working as a Mental Health Counselor at Endicott College. Previously I worked at Community Substance Abuse Centers (CSAC) working with clients struggling through addiction. In my position at CSAC I work with clients through the stages of change, offer psycho-education, conduct on-going assessments, as well as provide individual and group therapy. My academic and experiential learning history are strongly grounded in counseling and social justice from the University of Scranton and Boston College. I am looking to work with clients of diverse backgrounds and help empower them to create solutions in their own worlds. My work as an intern in the school, hospice, and college settings have given me a vast array of therapeutic and interpersonal experiences which have impacted me profoundly as a young professional. Though my work at Simmons College Counseling Center is focused on my passion for Feminist Therapy I have been trained in a multitude of therapeutic orientations through my internship and academic work.
