Background

About Brian Markheim

I have been in engineering/survey related fields since 1998. My roles in land surveying, project inspection, project management and project implementation have helped me achieve the current role in my career. I have been involved in a variety of infrastructure projects including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street construction, but I continue to gain knowledge with every project. I approach new projects with the philosophy that the perfect project does not exist and the man who claims to know all is a myth. I feel coordination, cooperation and honesty are very important pieces the the civil construction process and removing one piece brings the process to a crawl. I have had opportunities to work with/for some of the best engineers, contractors and inspectors in western Nebraska and the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, and for that, I am eternally grateful. I am continuing to gain knowledge from my current employer as well as utilizing past experience to make the development process less cumbersome.
