I started as a helper for my neighbor in the flooring trade in 1996. He taught me the basics of carpet laying, sheet vinyl, and laminates when they started to show up in the 90's. After this experience I move into sub-contracting for flooring stores and moving in to other types of flooring like hardwood and vinyl plank/tile. I tried to learn as much as I could about the products I was installing. By doing this I had become close to the top sales man at a floor retailer I worked for in my 30's. I had made a career of flooring and wanted to have my own business where I would sell and install my own products. I opened Flooring Fashions LLC in Lewes Delaware in 2015. is the store front of a Shop At Home Flooring store and I am the main operator.
