About Brian Matiash

I have extensive product marketing and QA experience while working at several amazing technology companies. With over 12 years of photo industry experience (and over 20 years of professional experience), I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of customer research, QA, and product marketing. I’ve also been very fortunate to build and lead several multinational teams, and I am as comfortable getting into the weeds with tactical tasks whenever needed. In my spare time, I am a photo educator serving Adobe Lightroom users interested in managing and editing their photos on any device, streamlining their gear, and taking better photos with any camera (including the one in their pocket). I accomplish that primarily through meticulously built online courses, allowing students to improve their photography skills in an approachable, easy-paced environment. I have also spent over 15 years creating a library of written and video content for photographers on my website and YouTube channel, and my work has been published in numerous print and online publications. Finally, I am proud to be a brand ambassador for ZEISS Lenses and Sandisk Professional.
