About Brian Mayhew

I have worked as a senior finance officer for 15 years, and 6 years as a business consultant with numerous fast growing companies. My primarily work is on strategic forecasts, budgets, reporting, and cost controls. I recently worked with a manufacturing company where we changed the cost and cash flow of this medical plastics company using workable budgets, and a long-term growth strategy. My other assignments include working with the owner of a technology company, developing a sensor for water contaminants. This was a start-up and we worked on the forecasts and raising capital. Another long term assignment was as the controller of a rope company, where I set the cost standards and worked on a merger. I had a term assignment as the interim CFO / Controller at GEA, an international process engineering company, owned by MG International, headquartered in Germany. I was involved in creating monthly reports, forecasts and semi-annual budgets. I’ve held long term positions, most noticeably for 11 years as Vice President / CFO of NRG Barriers (with five manufacturing plants) until we decided to take the company public, then its sale. I have a strong analytical business background with treasury, budget and financing experience. I have worked with Great Plains, SAP, MS Office, forecasting programs as well as other packages. These skills in addition to my professional background and experience with senior management highlight my value to a changing oriented company.
