As the Director of Commercial Billing at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, I oversee the billing processes for various markets, including group, consumer, and Medicare. With over 19 years of experience in the healthcare industry, I have developed a strong expertise in financial and data analysis, process design and improvement, software and application development, and internal controls and compliance.My mission is to optimize the billing operations and enhance the customer experience, while ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of the billing services. I have successfully implemented several initiatives that have reduced unbilled accruals, increased cash flow and investment income, improved automation and efficiency, and resolved customer reconciliation issues. I have also led and supported multiple projects involving new business ventures, software implementation, ROI modeling, and process redesign. I am passionate about building and leading high-performing teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering value-added solutions to the organization and its customers.
