About Brian McGuire

As BIM Manager, Brian applies Revit and BIM strategies for all BIM projects throughout the firm’s US offices. He is charged with writing Revit standards, BIM execution plans, BIM SOWs, CAD standards, and internal QM, QA, and QC procedures. He is also actively involved in the firm’s business development and marketing efforts through public speaking events on sustainability, BIM, or client interviews. Brian brings a wide range of corporate experience, having worked for more than 33 years in this area. Brian uses his government planning, ANSI specs, ISO training, Total Quality Management, and Management Advisory, to improve the efficiencies throughout his company. One of Brian’s primary goals is to learn and apply new methods to educate, communicate, and optimize each project for the best possible result. Brian is also focused on leveraging the “I” in Building Information Management – and taking BIM to the next level. Brian’s past positions have included BIM Manager, CAD Manager, BIM Consultant, Director of IT, and BIM Director. He has worked for midsize to multi-billion-dollar firms in the tri-state area, Southern California, and internationally. Brian has also sat on various governing boards as a director and advisor for colleges, nonprofits, and internal committees on BIM, CAD, and Future Technology focus groups on finding the latest innovations in the AEC and Transportation industry.
