About Brian Merzbach

As an IT professional with over 25 years of experience in various roles, I specialize in architecting, designing, developing, and managing enterprise IT solutions. Currently, I am the Product Owner of RosterApps at ARCOS, where I am a key member of the Agile development team that is implementing innovative workforce management solutions. Previously, I served as a Lead Architect at IBM, supporting the Albany NanoTech team (IBM Research) in semiconductor development. My tenure at IBM also involved spearheading various internal IT projects within the Integrated Supply Chain, Microelectronics, and Procurement business areas, providing me with opportunities to understand both technical and business perspectives. With over 10 years of experience leading multi-disciplined global Agile teams, I have successfully guided projects from discovery to production deployments. My recent roles have expanded my expertise in Cloud architecture and DevOps, including Microservices, test-driven development, continuous integration, and deployment automation. Throughout my career, I have held leadership positions as a developer, IT architect, and program manager, consistently driving innovation and efficiency in every project I undertake.
