About Brian Meyer

As a Program Director at Centerstone, I am responsible for the successful implementation of a SAMHSA grant that benefits homeless individuals. I have over eight years of experience in this role, managing the day-to-day administrative activities, supervising prevention, outreach, and clinical staff, and facilitating infrastructure development. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a master's degree in social work from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.I am passionate about providing direct services to clients and managing caseloads, as I did in my previous roles as a counselor at Fall Creek Counseling and a program director at Back on My Feet. I have skills in nonprofit organizations, crisis intervention, interventions, fundraising, and group therapy. I also have experience in developing and monitoring individual goal plans, organizing and facilitating financial literacy and workforce development courses, and making appropriate referrals. My mission is to empower and support people who are experiencing homelessness, mental health issues, or substance use disorders, and to collaborate with local service providers and stakeholders.
