About Brian Mooney

As champion for our global alliance with CGI at NetApp, I collaborate on joint hybrid cloud solutions and offerings that help our teams succeed and drive business outcomes. Innovation is the key to solving client challenges on their cloud journey, and our global alliance with CGI strengthens our capacity to deliver the customized, future-proofed solutions today’s organizations need to succeed. Working as a team, NetApp and CGI create global opportunities, breaking down barriers and opening borders. With our shared values of inclusivity, sustainability, and customer-first collaborations, we are the perfect team to drive digital transformation through data management in financial services, healthcare, transportation, media, public services, and smart cities. People are my inspiration, and I love to build relationships, motivate teams, and collaborate in a servant leadership capacity. It’s important to help people succeed by encouraging their strengths while challenging them to develop their skills and talents with an open mind and lifelong learning. Cultural diversity enriches my experience as I meet people from all over the world and learn about their customs and passions. The son of Irish immigrants, I am an optimist who meets challenges head-on and draws from a background based on faith. I believe in the strength of the human spirit and a willingness to help others succeed in challenging times. Community is important to me, and I dedicate my time and talents to supporting worthy causes that support the treatment of cancer patients, end homelessness, and empower those in need. I’m also an avid golfer, skier, and citizen of the world. My dog, Iggy, was named after St. Ignatius, who dedicated his life to missionary work and teaching, and whose example reminds me to “Go forth and set the world on fire.”
