10 years + of experience developing, writing, and editing technical, informational, or educational documentation that leads to better understanding of a product, smoother enablement, and case deflection. • 8 years of professional voiceover work in a corporate environment, as well as some volunteer work with LibraVox. • Almost 20 years of IT experience throughout my career, ranging from front line support to back office and administrator tasks. • 6 years Project management experience using AGILE methodology. • Instructor-led training designer, including video scripts and other training materials. • Experienced trainer (in person and virtual). I have loved technology since I was in my teens growing up with a DOS prompt and modems that actually made noises. Every year new things would come out and I'd spend hours just picking them apart or learning how they work. Mixing that with the fact that I love interacting with people, helping them understand how things work and training them about the newest tech thing. All of this has lead to a new life in creating technical training. I now create instructional, educational, informational and promotional videos, documentation, and other media (infographics, job aids, FAQs, etc) to help people understand the technology provided to them to do their jobs day to day. I enjoy being the person that gets to translate technical jargon into everyday languages for learners, to understand the story behind the technology and get that information to the people that need to use it.
