After 2 years in the United States Air Force Academy, Brian Newman went on to complete his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business at the College of Charleston in 1992. Brian immediately entered the insurance industry with State Farm Insurance in Charleston, SC. His success at State Farm was all the encouragement he needed to make the decision to open his own company. Brian opened Newman Insurance in Mooresville, NC in July Brian worked very hard to build one of the most successful independent insurance agencies in Mooresville, NC, which sold in February 2007. Brian decided to expand his professional experience beyond insurance and joined Northwest Mutual. Then after a few years in the financial planning industry he went on to open up Eastern Roof Technologies. One of his difficulties while owning an insurance agency was finding a reliable roofing company to recommend to his clients in the case of a hail/wind storm. Eastern Roof Technologies has been open since December of 2011.
