About Brian Ocque

Starting in 2007, I began volunteering for the Newark Ambulance embarking on a 10 year journey through EMT, Paramedic, and eventually administrator, served concurrently with the Lyons Town Ambulance. Once paramedic school was completed, I began clearing in the CNY, Finger Lakes, Monroe-Livingston and Southern Tier regions in an effort to experience all the various protocols that existed at the time. Through that I was able to work at other various systems, from rural to commercial-urban. Eventually I settled with the Finger Lakes Ambulance where in 6 years time I’ve gone from road tech, to critical care paramedic at the University of Florida, to Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, and now Director of Operations. I have a passion for leadership and operations, and have a side venture of teaching these sorts of lectures through a self made business, EMS: No Salt Added, a consultation and lecturing platform. I sit on the County advisory board for my community, I am the ALS Representative for the REMAC, and sit as a Finger Lakes Regional EMS Council member. In addition, I volunteer with the Middlesex Valley Volunteer Ambulance corps and Rushville Hose company, both of which service my community.
