About Brian Oliver
While working as a Firefighter/Paramedic for 15 years, I worked towards a Bachelor’s Degree in geology with a minor in Physics. This resulted in being offered employment with Plains Exploration and Production (now Sentinel Peak Resources) as I was given the chance to continue my education towards a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geology. I have completed my Master’s Degree Spring 2021 and have completed my Geologist in Training Certificate with ASBOG. During this time, I have held the title of Geologist and Senior Geological Technician. This position has allowed me to become well versed in a large variety of industry software and practices in both support and operator roles with many different company departments, government, and vendors. I work very well in team environments as both support and leadership and can work independently with minimal supervision.
