I am a Higher Education Counselor and Faculty Member with over 20 years of experience serving adult learners and nontraditional students. My work centers on student advocacy, community service, and empowering underrepresented populations to achieve their academic, career, and personal goals.Specializing in adult education and noncredit programs, I have guided countless students who balance work, family, and school. I help them navigate transitions, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to succeed both in and out of the classroom. My approach is grounded in empathy, inclusivity, and equity-minded practices, creating supportive, culturally responsive spaces where every student feels valued. As a student advocate, I work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and community partners to ensure programs and services reflect the real needs of diverse learners. I believe higher education has the power to transform lives and strengthen communities, and I strive to remove barriers that limit access or opportunity.I am a critical thinker, open-minded educator, and lifelong learner who values the unique stories and lived experiences students bring to their educational journey. My passion lies in helping students discover their strengths, chart pathways to success, and realize their potential — because when students succeed, communities thrive.
