Began managing the SAP Basis Team in April of 2007 for Hospira, which grew from a single location in Lake Forest, to teams in 3 separate locations in support of Follow the Sun. Prior, was an SAP Basis Administrator from October of to 2007, responsible for Basis support on a variety of both ABAP and Java Stack systems. Was involved both as a team and individual efforts in installations, upgrades and Unicode conversations in a variety of SAP Components. Prior to that, was a Unix Administrator on Digital, HP and Sun Unix systems from 1995 to Was involved with hardware repairs, creation of customized code for the monitoring of processes, installation and upgrades to the O/S. Prior to this, was a MVS Systems Programmer from 1991 to 1995, responsible for support of the IBM Mainframes and coding Assembler exits in support of automating 6 tape silos used for backups and processing of Batch. As part of the move from Mainframe to Distributed platform, was able to involve myself with the Network maintenance of NCP and VTAM as we were migrating away from the Mainframe world.
