About Brian Poth

I am passionate about connecting strategy to execution, energy transition and growth. My career spans more than 25 years, working across Canada, US, Europe and Asia developing and executing strategy, leading transformation programs and nurturing high performing, inclusive teams in both project and operational roles. Experienced in running complex transformation programs, leading national consulting teams and nurturing relationships from front-line to C-suite, I have consistently grown and improved market and team engagement. I have worked with financial services, insurance, public sector, manufacturing and energy clients to help them find their "why" and "how". A personal passion is our climate and energy transition and I have had the fortune to be a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the energy and utility ecosystem, helping them reduce their carbon footprint while improving their field service, operations, customer service, cyber, technology and innovation capabilities. I believe that enabling new ways of working requires just as much "energy" focused on people as technology and that having a simple plan that works is better than a complex plan on paper. I love to learn and share knowledge with others, and have a track record of coaching, mentoring and leading by example to develop high performing teams. More recently, I've had the good fortune to work in academia as a sessional lecturer and help grow our next generation of leaders.
