Work independently on projects of considerable complexity doing significant design, analysis, and coding and develop new (or modifies existing) application software. Work on the conversion from Ellucian Advance Web to Affinaquest by cleaning data in Advance to make a smooth transition of data through the conversion process. Validated data converted to Affinaquest using SalesForce and exporting data to Oracle for a detailed comparison. Meet bi-monthly with the Steering committee to help in the translation of data and help in providing insights into new business processes. • Diagnose performance issues, design and code solutions. • Work collaboratively with developers and business analysts in support of new user requirements and ensure that they are properly implemented • Utilize development skills to design, code, and test extensible, reusable PL/SQL programs • Contribute to the growth and maturity of the department by providing mentorship, fostering development and knowledge transfer, and thought-leading by example • Create and enforce database development standards and processes like coding, naming conventions, data access, etc. • Create and enforce architectural standards like data security, replication, storage, etc. • Work through technology challenges faced by the department, and provide solutions
