I have been working in technical support roles since I started a Job bridge internship with ESB networks in 2012, since then I have being a level 1 support engineer for blue tree systems and was quickly promoted to a Level 2 support engineer where I could handled more complex issues as well as managing, training and supporting colleagues in level one. I am currently a RMS Technical Support Representative with Schneider electric, my main role is to monitor events and APC products and notifying customers when necessary. My current role with Medtronic involves carrying out Vendor Approval/Surveillance audits to ensure that suppliers are capable of meeting our quality requirements on a continuous basis. Ensureing that “First Articles” are carried out to verify that all parts meet their Dimensional and Functional requirements. Managing suppliers on an ongoing basis via regular contact, periodic audits and other methods to guarantee consistent high quality performance on an ongoing basis. Leading cross functional QIT’s to resolve Quality issues at suppliers Participate in cross functional teams to review process improvements/ optimizations at suppliers through PFMEA’s and control plans. Represent the Vendor Engineering function on Component/Site Transfers and support prototype builds at vendors facility I hold a degree in electronic engineering but have furthered my education by also obtaining a degree in android programming and Control and Automation engineering with NUIG. I enjoy my studies and look forward to the next course that takes my fancy. During my Time with Schneider electric I have completed a course to get my Six Sigma green belt and while with Medtronic I have completed lead auditor training. When I’m not on the job I try to keep active, I go to the gym a few days a week, I love to run and take part in marathons.
