Brian is a real data science generalist with proven success in the fields of biomedical research, law enforcement, finance, marketing, and supply chain. Prior to refactoring as a data scientist, Brian’s career in research science spanned twenty-five years and positions from laboratory assistant to associate professor. His experience as a cognitive neuroscientist makes him a valuable resource in AI research programs. Because of his experience in biomedical research, law enforcement data science and e-commerce, Brian has extensive experience in the proper handling of personal private information under HIPAA, CJIS and Sarbanes-Oxley frameworks. Moreover, he is familiar with the special issues surrounding statistical modeling in regulated environments.
