Why do you think Clint Eastwood, Sofia Coppola, and Ben Affleck are so successful at FILMMAKING? I have the unique experience of appearing in front of the camera in over 50 Film/TV projects and commercials. You learn a lot about the collaborative process while sitting on set watching a gaffer team set up lighting changes, hearing DP's and Director's talk about coverage angles, and spying on Producer's chat about what is working, or not, and why. Actors speak a different "language" while on set engulfed in their creative process. I speak that language and all the different dialects that come along with it. Not every actor speaks the same and their needs are distinctive. I know those needs and can spot them a mile away. Culture is a big word for me, more specifically, how culture relates to an onset environment. Taking the the lessons that I have myself experienced while working as an actor and behind the camera, I have been able create and infuse positive energy while I am on set. Vibes that are conducive to the creative process rather than stifle it and result in an efficient work environment.
