About Brian Raynor

For 23 years I have managed to successfully combine my professional interests in Engineering and Software. After initially working as an Instrument and Control Systems Engineer for a couple of large offshore Oil & Gas facilities, I formed Advanced Project Solutions in 1992 to provide specialist software development services to engineering projects. APS initially developed applications in-house, however in 1998 we re-focused entirely on the INtools Instrumentation Database system. We have since provided installation, training, importing, administration, hosting and customisation for INtools, and subsequently SmartPlant Instrumentation, for various clients in Australia and internationally. We added SmartPlant Electrical (2003) and then SmartPlant Foundation (2005) to our range of services, and we can now provide a comprehensive range of services to clients looking to implement a SmartPlant Enterprise solution. APS has also released a specialised commercial reporting application for SPF, SPI, SPEL & SPPID. Imaginatively named "APS Reporter", it provides powerful tools for easily querying and reporting from the SmartPlant databases.
