About Brian Renix
Having grown up in BC and around boats, I've always had a love for the water so the marine industry was a no brainer for me and started with my first summer job as a dock attendant in Secret Cove. My experience is varied and includes volunteer positions with the BC Provincial Emergency Program and Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, crewing on private vessels abroad, working in the Port of Vancouver operating pilot launches, harbour towing and ship berthing tugs, managing a fleet of port support vessels as well as in marine operations for the BC film industry. Some of my early experience also includes extensive restaurant operations and management. In 2007, a chance opportunity landed me in the yachting industry and I haven't looked back. As Managing Partner at Yacht Care Systems, and most recently as Manager, Business Development, I've been able to combine, my love for cruising with my commercial marine and hospitality management experience to provide Vancouver yacht owners with the services they need to enjoy their time on the water stress free.
