About Brian Roberts

I joined the Marines at 17, and served in Iraq with an infantry unit. The Marines taught me leadership, gave me my work ethic, and showed me how to take pride in what I do. Since leaving the Marines, I have made a career in jobs that allow me to work with customers. I believe in treating all customers with courtesy and respect, whether they are complaining or complimenting. I am a collaborative leader who works well in a team or on my own. I believe that doing a job well is more important than doing a job quickly. I was taught that communication needs to move up and down the chain of command, especially when moving into an advisory role as an outside hire. A good leader needs to listen as well as they are heard.
