VISIONARY. ASTUTE. ENTREPRENEURIAL. I am a highly accomplished talent acquisition and search professional who has created a successful career in the industry over the past 30 years. Having worked at the highest level in Australia and built successful national executive search firms in the past, my passion and expertise lies with leadership and development, executive search, talent advisory, management, capital relations and investor relations. As Managing Director at Brown & Chase (NSW), I bring my strong background overseeing mid, senior- and board-level appointments to the firm, within both the public and private sectors. I am also actively involved with several charitable organisations and am committed to encouraging philanthropic ideals. Some of my professional achievements include… - Creating Dunhill Management Services – a national recruitment firm specialising in permanent and contract assignments that employed 250 staff- Surviving the GFC in an industry that was adversely affected. I then started the Brooklyn Group as the Founding Partner and Director; that grew to become one of Australia’s leading relationship driven recruitment providers operating in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney- Being on the Board of the Australian Children’s Music Foundation. This organisation provides free, long-term music programs and instruments to disadvantaged and Indigenous children across Australia, inspiring creativity and imagination while nurturing self-esteem and confidence. I am driven by satisfaction from finding the right people for our clients and still get excited developing people and businesses. I get great pleasure from seeing people succeed, and if I can help along the way then that’s great! When not working you will find me on the golf course, swimming or running around the north shore of Sydney. I am also a father and stepfather to four wonderful boys, who, along with my three grandchildren, provide me with great joy.
