About Brian Schofield

Brian Schofield was selected for the position of Assistant Manager of the Pension Management Center (PMC) located in Philadelphia, PA in May, 2023. Mr. Schofield’s career in the Veterans Benefits Administration began in 2010 as a Veterans Service Representative (VSR) and later, Senior VSR/Authorization Specialist in the PMC. In 2017, he was selected as a Supervisory Legal Administrative Specialist for the National Contact Center (NCC), and served as Manager of the NCC from May 2020 - May 2023, where he was responsible for overseeing a staff of approximately 175 Legal Administrative Specialists tasked with providing timely and accurate contact services to Veterans, Service-members, their families and survivors. Prior to his time with the VBA, Mr. Schofield began his career in federal service as a park ranger in the National Park Service. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Mr. Schofield went on to pursue a Master’s in Public Administration from Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey, with a focus on Public Management. While attending Rutger University,Mr. Schofield worked in various graduate, research and teaching assistant positions.
