In February 2024, I joined Electric Supply Inc. of Tampa (now World Electric, a Sonepar Company) to continue my career in putting together switchgear packages for electrical contractors. ESI had built a stellar reputation as one of the top electrical supplies wholesalers in the country. Prior to that.In November of '22, after an accomplished 11-year tenure overseeing the Quotations Departments at both CED Tampa and CED Port Tampa concurrently, I transitioned to Surge Suppression, LLC ("SSI"), an ILSCO Company, as a Business Development Specialist. Following its acquisition by nVent in May 2023 (nvent.com, traded on the NYSE as NVT), I assumed the role of Inside Sales, Key Accounts. My core responsibilities revolved around inside sales including blueprint takeoffs and applications for all of the Gulf Coast states plus the Mountain and Western Time Zones (20 states in total), providing sales support to Regional Sales Managers and agents across North America. Prior to that.In April 2011, after enjoying a fruitful 22+ years as a Sales Engineer in the electrical manufacturing and distribution sector, I made the decision to transition to Consolidated Electrical Distributors. Here, I took on a sales support position within the same industry, concentrating on switchgear quotations and project management. Leveraging my extensive experience and technical expertise, I brought valuable insights and knowledge to this support role, benefiting not only our sales team but also our esteemed clientele. With years of comprehensive training under my belt, I proudly identify as a specialist in circuit protection. Throughout my career I have been instrumental in providing training to electrical engineers and maintenance personnel, focusing on equipment safety and life safety concerns in this field. I find immense fulfillment in being recognized as excellent in my field, a testament to the dedication and personal investment I've made to excel. Given the high stakes in this industry, where even the slightest error can have significant financial and life safety implications, I prioritize the quality of the circuit protection equipment I include in bid packages above all else.
