About Brian Shilling

My name is Brian Shilling and I love all things design and technology. I graduated from the Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio with a degree in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurial Studies. I loved Xavier University so much I had to go back to earn my Masters in Customer Analytics. I am currently leading and empowering doctors and citizen data scientists in solving some of the most difficult issues children face at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital -#2 Children’s Hospital in the Nation!For over 10 years, I developed an exceptional background in data analytics and project management, while gaining exposure to various business cultures and widely divergent professionals. Common sense tells us that if customers can't find information easily or have trouble buying products then they will quickly shop elsewhere. I challenge my projects to bridge the gap between customer experience strategy and successful execution by delivering user-centric solutions to expand and retain customers. Empowering customers is my key to success! Among all lessons I have learned in my early professional career there is one that stands out the most:Network! The key to success in such a broad organization is to build a network of contacts that you can reach out to when you need to leverage their expertise and experience. Talk to as many people as possible that are related to your project, especially those doing similar things in different organizational groups to use their past experiences to guide and improve what you can offer to your team.
