About Brian Sien

Working in association management for over 20 years for a variety of groups like: AAMC/NRMP (doctors) ACEC/MW (civil engineers) NCBTMB (massage therapists) Prior to association management, I worked for Domino's Pizza (as a driver and assistant manager), US Airways Express as a gate, ramp and operations agent, mailroom for Wall Street on Demand, Graydon Manor Psychiatric Facility as a counselor, as a lifeguard and swim instructor and a groundskeeper at EDS. Other achievements: My aspiration was to play professional football, but it wasn't meant to be. After starting out at Virginia Tech and transferring to Liberty University, I found myself with a very valuable degree and remaining eligibility. My intention was to go to grad school at University of Colorado (Boulder) and play 2 years there. Unfortunately, at the time, the NCAA prohibited someone from graduating from a Division 1 university and transferring to another one to play the same sport. Thankfully this rule has since changed. With that door shut, I decided to try to just "go pro". After a scouting combine, I was invited to try out for the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. An ankle injury sidelined me and I decided to hang up my cleats for good (well, until I played Semi-Pro for the Virginia Kings in 2005 - unpaid). It all worked out though, as my education and degree (Child and Adolescent Development) from Liberty University will help as I help raise child(ren).
