The key to feeling fulfilled, whole, and at peace in your life isn't in achieving another promotion, another certification, or another career milestone. The key is aligning your actions with your identity. You can begin to live in alignment NOW, literally today, instead of waiting for some future day when the stars align (that idea is a fiction, by the way). You may be approaching this backwards if you focus only on achieving, mistakenly believing that more money, more education, or more time is required before you can live your dreams. But this isn't true! Living in alignment today will lead to becoming. And if you make becoming the priority, achievement will inevitably follow. Not too long ago, I found myself making more money than I ever thought I would, living in my ideal family situation, with no real financial stress to speak of. But I still felt I had to earn more and more, and spend less and less. As a result, I earned a Masters degree, ramped up my side business, earned certificates to qualify myself and prove my worth to others, and as a result achieved even more. But my anxiety remained! My stress multiplied! I didn't feel more fulfilled, or more able to enjoy the life I was building. I now know that none of those external things could ever give me peace or enduring fulfillment. I had to find alignment, and as my actions became more aligned with my identity, I began to enjoy peace and fulfillment in the present, not later after I had done X, Y, and Z. I certainly haven't reached the end of my path, but my action has given me clarity. That clarity gives me confidence, and from a position of confidence I am blessed with opportunities to support my family in ways that align with who I am and my vision of where I want to go. Alignment allows becoming, and achievement always follows becoming. This is truth! My name is Brian, and I'm grateful you're here.
