About Brian Sinyangwe

I am a highly dedicated professional enrolled in a military-grade cybersecurity bootcamp. I am actively working toward three certifications, including the CompTIA Security+. Currently, I am gaining hands-on experience in Network Security and Identifying and Analyzing Threats. I am tested on these skills routinely. Before making the transition into this program, I was in the Healthcare industry. Throughout my career I have always had an interest in computers and technology. Outside of my full-time study schedule and work, I enjoy spending time with my kids, helping them with homework and watching movies together. Beginning in the Fall of 2021, I will be actively seeking a full-time position as a Cyber Security Analyst. I welcome connections to grow my network in the IT field. My motivation to join the cybersecurity career comes from my love for computers and everything related to technology. I love the security aspect of networks and how protocols, firewalls, servers can be set up to secure a network. I am especially intrigued with how one can stop hackers and what is involved in making a network secure. I find that extremely exciting, and knowing that I will be able to do that very soon makes me so excited.
