About Brian Smith

With nearly two decades of experience in leadership roles, I have guided numerous diverse teams including large public facing operational staff to smaller groups of managers and their extended teams. Over the last ten years, I have held senior level management roles in the health and community services sector, where I have been responsible for state-wide service delivery, strategy development, business development, change management, business analysis and contract negotiation. This has meant working closely with staff as well as external stakeholders to support iconic West Australian organisations like HBF, Medicare Locals, the Activ Foundation and Ngala, to achieve business and strategic success. My experience and background complements my passion for Ngala’s ‘why’ and a motivation to provide better outcomes for all children. As a proud husband and father, I consider my role at Ngala to be a privilege and one that contributes to both my personal and profession growth.
