I am Yahoo Finance's first-ever Executive Editor and a member of Yahoo Finance's editorial/content leadership team. I also host the 'Opening Bid Unfiltered' podcast that airs on Yahoo Finance, Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon and iHeartMedia. Further, I am the co-creator, head booker and editorial leader of Yahoo Finance's annual 'Invest' conference, a full day in person and TV event that brings together top CEOs and celebrities to discuss all things investing, business and finance to a global audience. My time at Yahoo Finance has been amazing. I lead editorial, booking and the on-camera interviews and text stories for some of the most impactful events in the world such as the World Economic Forum, Milken and Cannes Lions. Above all of this, I have been able to mentor the next generation of business news journalists and pass the baton on so many things taught to me. It has been amazing to see my team members grow and achieve great things. I have also gotten to learn from some of the best leaders around while working at Yahoo Finance. In the nearly seven years I have been at Yahoo Finance, we have grown content views by 35%. We are the #1 most visited investing platform in the world by more than 2x, clocking in at about 108 million monthly visitors. Prior to joining Yahoo Finance to help launch our TV network and lead our CEO coverage as an anchor and the publication's founding editor-at-large, I also led editorial direction across TheStreet's three publications as Executive Editor and a member of the management team: TheStreet; The Deal; RealMoney spanning bureaus in New York City, Washington, DC, San Francisco, and the UK. I led and managed a team of more than 100 journalists and had direct P&L responsibilities. Under my leadership, TheStreet increased content views by more than 40% to 50 million monthly views and subscriptions to premium services by more than 25%. TheStreet also won a 2017 SABEW award for best financial commentary. I worked closely with my fellow management team members to prepare the business for a sale, which included various spin-offs and eventually a sale of the parent company.
