About Brian Stanley

As a sales engineer, my bread and butter is story telling. To me, this means encapsulating complex topics and ideas in a way that can be easily digested by personas ranging from Data Engineers and Business Analysts all the way up to the C-suite. I also have an undying curiosity for all things data, coupled with a voracious passion for ideating innovative solutions to customer problems. As a cloud architect, my philosophy of learning is that everything can (and should) be composed from its parts to build a complete understanding. As an embodiment of my own ideology, I got my footing in the software world by first studying computer engineering (VLSI Design.) Understanding how the most atomic components within a computer system form together to construct the higher level functions and shortcuts (that we often take for granted) enables me to see through a lot of the abstraction that convolutes software architecture today. I continually employ this philosophy to ensure my understanding of cloud architecture can be used to speak intelligently to customers at all levels with little to no preparation.
