About Brian Stark

I have been working as a recruiter/trainer at the Elements Massage in Campbell. My role includes interviewing and assessing applicants, performing all onboarding functions including new hire documentation, explaining of benefits, orientation and responsibilities, and, often, skill training for expected job duties. I am also responsible for training experienced staff on new skills or tuning up skills that may decline. I also work with the owner in developing new benefits plans such as health care, dental, paid time off, employee events, and other benefits. Before that I was manager of the Inspa at Santana Row. During this time, I had to perform many roles including recruiting and training staff, resolving customer service issues, train new hire massage therapists on services they may not be familiar with, train my leads on how to lead their departments, plan events, and coordinate with other merchants. I had to audit my staff in all departments and make sure everyone was compliant with state and local mandates. I had to keep track of all permits of both the business and staff and keep everything current. I kept track of all corporate promotions and changes in protocol and make sure all my staff are kept up to date to a level where they are comfortable explaining these to guests. I was responsible for making sure the equipment was ready to use, making sure all staff was clear about their tasks and how to do them, and ensure all guests had an experience they want to repeat.
