About Brian Steeves

Highly skilled and motivated professional with a strong background in the military and a focus in Project Management. Currently transitioning from the military in November 2024, I hold a B.S. in Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of New Hampshire and will be pursuing an M.S. Project Management with a concentration in Construction Management utilizing the G.I. Bill. During my tenure in the Coast Guard, I’ve gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience on the Coast Guards largest engineering plant aboard the CGC Polar Star. Working in the Main Propulsion department, I successfully troubleshooted and maintained various critical systems, including diesel engines, gas turbines, oil purification systems, hydraulic systems, and hazmat materials. This experience has molded my technical skills and ability to handle complex machinery. Additionally, I am a qualified Boarding Officer at the Maritime Safety and Security Team Cape Cod, trained in a range of maritime operations, including Maritime Anti-terrorism, Force Protection, Maritime Law Enforcement operations, Underwater Port Security, Non-Compliant Vessel Boarding, and Pursuit.
