About Brian Tenace

I'm a Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states who holds a FenestrationMaster® Professional Certification. I've been working in manufacturing and machine design since 2001 in production and quality-driven environments. My education includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from the University of Florida. As a design engineer, I managed, coordinated test plans and collaborated with multiple departments to set up new production lines for windows. In addition to fenestration design, I designed hardware, above/below ground spill containment vessels, extrusions, dies and molds. I conducted root cause analysis for fatigue, weld, and corrosion failure of steel, springs, pressure vents and sheet metals. I developed tests according to standards and custom specifications as needed, along with modifying manufacturing processes. My failure analysis experience includes impact testing, design for ballistic protection, water infiltration resistance and corrosion. I regularly investigate property damage claims involving machinery and equipment in a variety of environments, as well as personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability claims for both insurance adjusters and attorneys.
