About Brian Tewart

In my time in the Navy, I have been extremely fortunate to not only excel at what I do, but also to love doing it. Even a bad day on the water is still a good day. I have spent the last twenty-one years as a member of the United States Submarine Force, most recently serving as Tugmaster at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. My naval experience and training has afforded me the opportunity to develop expertise in small craft and tugboat handling, crisis management, voyage planning, and leadership. I have travelled all over the world, lived in seven states, and have crossed both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans multiple times, with enough nautical miles under my belt that I've lost count. I am retiring from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, ready to put my skills to work outside of the military, doing the work that I am genuinely invested in and passionate about.
