Brian Tiernan is an Investment Manager at NTR plc, responsible for project financing, mergers and acquisitions, and development across onshore wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects in Ireland, the UK, Italy and France. He has almost 20 years’ experience in finance, including the last decade in renewable energy, with a track record of over 690MW of transactions spanning greenfield to operational assets. Key projects include: 155MW Solar project in Ireland, 211MW Solar and BESS in Ireland, €100m refinance of onshore wind in Europe, 3MW anaerobic digestion plant in the UK, 11MW of operational solar PV in Italy, project across Italy, UK and Ireland. • Project/Corporate finance experience – Debt and equity raising. • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills, experienced in sales and negotiation, refinance. • Team player able to both work as part of and lead a team in a variety of environments. • Well-organised, self-motivated and extremely reliable individual with an excellent work ethic and an analytical approach to problem-solving. • Ability to work under pressure, with heavy workloads and changing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. • International work experience across Europe and North America.
