About Brian Vanderlaan

Brian VanderLaan is a Commercial Business Development professional in the rigid plastic injection molding industry with over 30 yrs of experience to his credit. His career began in the rapid prototype and pre-production molding industry in 1986 with ARRK in San Diego California He graduated with Cum Laude honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Minor in Business Administration. My passions are helping others learn and collaborating with customers to achieve their manufacturing goals. Its a great feeling when you see a new product launched into production on-time and within budget successfully. I have successfully developed new business and commercial opportunities for some of the largest custom injection molders in North America including Nypro, United Plastics Group and The Plastek Group. Since 2006 he has been the Director of Business Development for The Plastek Group, Westfall, and now Phillips Medisize specializing in driving new business growth with Fortune 100/500 companies for custom injection molded, Metal Injection Molded and Liquid Silicone Rubber molding applications.
