About Brian Vitelli

I am interested in working in a field which utilizes my multi-disciplinary knowledge and experience. I possess a wide and diverse range of experience and abilities in a variety of scholastic and academic disciplines and extensive skills, training and experience in the biological, chemical, veterinary and public health sciences. I have more than twenty years of experience in clinical veterinary practice; I have worked as a relief veterinarian, operated a house call practice and developed, owned and operated a large companion animal practice. I am an experienced, capable and compassionate veterinary practitioner. I taught high school biology, anatomy and physiology, life science and veterinary science at Morgan School in Clinton, Connecticut for four years. I have also taught biology and chemistry as an adjunct professor at Gateway Community College. I am a qualified and experienced teacher and business owner and I worked as a relief Supervisory Veterinary Medical Officer in the Albany district of the United States Department of Agriculture-Food Safety and Inspection Service. In the course of that position, I received extensive training in the regulation, control and inspection of the food industry. I am looking for a stimulating and challenging scientific position where I can learn, contribute and make a difference.
