About Brian Vogel

I recently graduated the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) with a Bachelor's of Science in Marine Engineering Systems, and I am currently serving as an Officer in the US Navy. During my time at the academy, I experienced tremendous personal and professional growth. Due to USMMA being one of the 5 federal service academies, I had a strict-regimented lifestyle that instilled a tremendous work ethic and provided me with real-world experiences relevant to my new Naval career. When I was a Cadet at sea, I learned to maintain and operate systems related to diesel, steam, and nuclear propulsion plants. These experiences have honed my knowledge as a systems engineer and improved my mechanical and electrical engineering skill set. USMMA provided me with the best educational experience I could have asked for, and I am eager to put my knowledge and experiences into practice.
