I lead the North American Solutions Engineering team at PingCAP, driving transformative solutions with TiDB – a MySQL-compatible, open-source, distributed SQL database purpose-built for performance at scale. With over 25 years in database systems and 15 years in presales, I specialize in architecting solutions that reimagine what’s possible for mission-critical, data-intensive applications. In parallel, I’ve been leading the design and prototyping of AI-integrated technical workflows — specifically around agentic systems, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and autonomous GTM assistants. I believe the next evolution of technical sales will be AI-augmented: intelligent workflows, personalized enablement, and memory-anchored context that scales human insight. Key Highlights • Grew TiDB’s North America footprint to 115% of net new ARR in FY25, with a 140% increase in customer logos and 5× growth in PoCs executed year-over-year. • Built a cross-functional GTM-AI strategy incorporating intelligent content routing, SE PoC memory systems, and RAG-based pre-qualification tooling. • Partnered with engineering, sales, and product teams to deliver customer-first solutions, contributing to a 4.9 rating on Gartner Peer Insights and sustained rise in DB-Engines rankings.
