About Brian Warm

Dedicated professional with 5+ years of combined experience in higher education and human resources. As an HR Officer at Columbia Law School, I currently support the HRIS, talent acquisition, payroll and learning & development functions for over faculty, full-time staff, and student staff members. I work with HR Leadership to implement policies and procedures that align with the school's mission and values, and that foster a diverse, inclusive, and supportive work environment. I also currently serve as a Founding Board Member of the Latino America Unida Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes education, leadership, and community engagement among Latinx students and professionals. From my time in this role, I have gained skills in board search, resource management, fundraising, programming, and scholarship funding. Additionally, I have 2+ years of experience as a Community Coordinator at The George Washington University, where I managed the residential life and student support services for over students from different backgrounds and cultures, in addition to serving as an HR Liaison for my department. I gained skills in talent acquisition, talent development, conflict resolution/employee relations, stakeholder management, and community development. With my combined experiences and educational background in Business Administration and Student Affairs Administration, I am passionate about developing and empowering people, solving problems, and creating positive change. I am seeking new professional development opportunities to leverage my skills and experience in HR, recruitment, talent development, and employee relations.
